Wilmington's Trusted Vehicle Protection Specialists

Nelson Lopez founded NVS Customs LLC and remains its owner and driving force, building the shop into one of the few locally owned window tint businesses in Wilmington, NC. With more than six years of hands-on experience protecting vehicles, Nelson personally installs every window tint, paint protection film, and ceramic coating application that comes through the shop, ensuring each project meets the same high standard whether it’s a daily driver or a weekend showpiece.

Based in Wilmington, he and his team extend that same level of care to drivers and property owners throughout the surrounding coastal communities, including Leland, Castle Hayne, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Hampstead, and Surf City. Nelson also writes the blog content published on the NVS Customs website, sharing practical, firsthand insight drawn from years spent working on vehicles in this specific region.

That regional knowledge matters: he’s quick to point out that salt air, beach sand, and strong coastal sun wear down unprotected paint far faster than typical inland driving conditions, which is why proactive protection is so important for anyone living near the water. It’s this blend of technical skill and local expertise that keeps customers coming back to NVS Customs.
